Joshua Richard Broderick

Son of Jared and Heidi Broderick We had 3 daughters aged 6,4, & 2. Our family was so excited to welcome our first baby boy as baby #4. But soon after the ultrasound at 20 weeks, we learned that because of a birth defect, our baby boy would have to live his whole life on a breathing machine, he did not have enough lung tissue to breathe on his own, ever. Jared and I were devastated, we prayed as a couple and felt it was the best option to have our baby as soon as possible, as he would not feel any pain, and we knew he would quickly pass away soon after birth. We did not think it was fair to have him live his whole life attached to a machine.  We delivered Joshua Richard Broderick at 21 weeks gestation on 11-20-2010. He was 1 lb 3 oz, 11.5 in long. He lived a precious 50 min, and we loved him all we could during that time. He quickly returned to his Heavenly home.  One year later, we welcomed baby #5, a healthy baby girl. Kate Woodbury

Kate Woodbury was born October 1st, 2014. After the passing of their first child, Ben, and the elated healthy arrival of their second child, Ellie, Kristen and Randy were still very aware of the 25% chance that each of their babies could be born with a rare genetic condition called NKH (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia). Unfortunately, the odds weren't in their favor and it was quickly discovered that Kate also had the same genetic disorder as her older brother, Ben. She was such a sweet and perfect baby. Kate was able to go home for a few days and peacefully passed away at 5 days old before reuniting with her brother, Ben. The Woodbury Family now have, with the help of genetic testing, been able to have 2 more healthy children, Jane and Zack. ♡ If you have been the recipient of one of Kate's blankets and would like to share a comment or picture with a blanket that has been donated in their name, please do!♡

Benjamin Ryan Woodbury

Benjamin Ryan Woodbury was born February 15th, 2011. He was Kristen and Randy's first child. When Ben was born he didn't cry and was very lethargic. He had such a strong spirit about him and was absolutely perfect. He was taken to Primary Children's for more testing and that's when they diagnosed Ben with a rare genetic condition called NKH (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia). He was able to go home for a few days before he peacefully passed away at 10 days old. ♡ If you have been the recipient of one of Dakota's blankets and would like to share a comment or picture with a blanket that has been donated in their name, please do!♡
